Demoscopic Analytics, as well as its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, "Demoscopic Analytics", "us" or "we"), recognize how important your privacy is to you. In our capacity as data controllers, this Privacy Policy describes how we handle and protect your personal data in connection with Demoscopic Analytics' business activities, such as conferences and events, and client services, as well as on websites, applications, and communications that post a link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, "the Sites").

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Demoscopic Analytics obtains personal data as part of its business activities, including some customer services. So, despite "do not track" signals sent by web browsers, we continue with our current data collecting and usage procedures.

USE OF INFORMATION COLLECTED VIA MOBILE DEVICES

Demoscopic Analytics may work with third-party service providers in conjunction with our mobile applications to analyze user behavior in order to correct bugs, track usage, and enhance the functionality of the apps. For instance, Demoscopic Analytics receives reports on the general usage and browsing habits of certain of our mobile applications, including details on the kind of device being used, the articles that were visited, and other activities carried out inside our apps. Additionally, notifications of specific faults happening in mobile applications are sent to Demoscopic Analytics.

Demoscopic Analytics is not responsible or accountable for your use of such links, nor do they represent or indicate that Demoscopic Analytics sponsors, approves, or otherwise recommends the third party, the third party website, or any of the content found there. Such usage shall be governed by the terms of service and privacy policies that are present on such websites.

SOCIAL NETWORKING

You may be able to sign in to the sites and link your Demoscopic Analytics account to social network accounts like Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, among others. You might also be able to access a Demoscopic Analytics account through the Sites by utilizing the login information for a specific social network account. By linking your social network account to Demoscopic Analytics or logging in to a Demoscopic Analytics account with your social network account credentials, you grant us permission to view information in your public profile for that social network account. Your email address, actual name, profile photo, gender, and location may all be viewable on your public profile, depending on the social network and your choices. We utilize the information we get from your social network account in line with the terms of service of the social network and this Privacy Policy.

SECURITY

To safeguard against loss, unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of personal data, Demoscopic Analytics has established generally recognized standards of technological and operational security. Access to personal data is restricted to approved Demoscopic Analytics staff and third-party service providers, who are obligated to keep the information secret. Demoscopic Analytics, however, cannot ensure that unauthorized parties won't gain access to your personal data in spite of these security measures.

CHILDREN

The Sites are not intended for or targeted to minors under the age of 16, and Demoscopic Analytics does not knowingly collect or keep personal information about any such individual.

DATA RETENTION

Demoscopic Analytics retains personal data, as necessary, for the duration of the relevant business relationship. If we need to preserve the personal information to defend ourselves against lawsuits, utilize it for analysis or historical record-keeping, or to comply with our information management rules and schedules, we may also keep it after the commercial relationship has ended. Demoscopic Analytics will use commercially reasonable efforts to completely remove all instances of the information upon receiving your request that we delete your personal data.

YOUR RIGHTS

Where permitted by relevant legislation, you may be able to ask for access to the personal information we have gathered about you in order to examine, change, or ask for the data to be deleted. Additionally, you may be entitled to a copy of the personal information we have on file for you and the correction of any errors. You may also ask us to stop processing your personal data in specific situations. Before allowing access to your personal data, we will take reasonable measures to authenticate your identity, such as requesting a password and user ID, in order to assist preserve your privacy and security. We shall try our best to swiftly look into, abide by, or otherwise address your requests as might be required by relevant legislation. 

Depending on the situation and the request, different regulations may restrict us from granting access to your personal data or otherwise completely complying with your request, such as when revealing your information may disclose the identity of someone else. We retain the right to refuse your requests if they are plainly unjustified, excessive, or otherwise undesirable or unwarranted under relevant law, as well as the right to impose an appropriate price for complying with your request where permitted by current law. 

CONSENT

You authorize us to collect, use, and store your personal information as set forth in this Privacy Policy and elsewhere on the Sites by using the Sites. We retain the right to sometimes alter this privacy statement. Any such changes will be communicated to you by revising this Privacy Policy. We will request your consent if we make significant changes to this Privacy Policy that expand our ability to use the personal information we have already collected about you. We will do this by sending an email to the address you have on file or by prominently posting information about the changes on our websites.
